Defender
Every once in awhile you stumble upon a rare treasure like the Defender.
At first glance, it carries itself like a premium texturizer with enough authority to remove real weight and get on with the job. Twenty seven teeth. The first stretch of the blade takes out roughly 40 to 45 percent of the hair, which makes it very good company when bulk begins to gather where it has no business being.
Then the mood changes.
Near the tip, the teeth double up and the removal softens to 10 to 15 percent. The shear that was just taking down weight with confidence now feathers with a far lighter hand, refining the finish with the sort of precision usually reserved for a different tool entirely.
That is what makes the Defender so unusual.
It does the heavier work. It does the finer work. And it does both without asking you to switch horses in the middle of the river.
A one of a kind texturizing shear with the good sense to know when to press forward and when to ease off.
