Slimline

The Slimline began, one suspects, with dissatisfaction.

Not the dramatic kind. The quieter, more dangerous variety. First for steel worthy of the assignment, which eventually led to Solingen, where they have been taking steel personally for a very long time. Then for a shape lean enough to disappear into the hand and exact enough to settle the smallest decisions without turning them into negotiations. The result is the Slimline.

Ultralight. Narrow through the blade. Tapered to a fine point that slips easily into fringe work, detailing, and the sort of precision cutting that leaves no room for wandering thoughts or blunt instruments. It carries the cleaner, more disciplined sensibility of the European tradition, where refinement is not decoration but function.
